As part of the firm's activities, we publish this Privacy Policy, which applies to the use of the website, contact forms, online inquiries, means of communication with the firm, social media pages, and any other online service related to the firm's activities (hereinafter: the “Website” or the “Services”).

This Policy describes the types of personal information that may be collected in connection with the use of the Website and the Services, the purposes for which the information is used, the parties to whom the information may be disclosed, and your rights with respect to such information. Providing personal information is not a legal obligation and is at your discretion. However, without providing certain details, we may be unable to handle your inquiry.

Use of the Website and/or contacting the firm constitutes confirmation that you have read this Policy and that the information will be collected and processed in accordance with its provisions, subject to applicable law.

In this Policy, “Personal Information” means data relating to an identified person or a person who may be identified, directly or indirectly, including through an identifying detail such as a name, identification number, address, telephone number, email address, or online identifier.

The Personal Information we may collect includes, among other things: full name; telephone number; email address; residential address; position; field of activity; the content of inquiries; information relating to the legal service requested; any other information you choose to provide; and technical and digital information, such as IP address, device type, browser type, source of arrival at the Website, pages viewed, and interactions with forms, links, or content on the Website.

Purposes of Using the Information

Artificial Intelligence Tools

The firm may use artificial intelligence tools and similar technologies for research, analysis, assistance in drafting documents, streamlining work processes, operation, and improvement of the service. Considering the nature of the information that may be provided to us, use of such tools will be undertaken with care, for a defined purpose, and subject to the law and the duty of confidentiality.

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

The firm may disclose or permit access to Personal Information by third parties to the extent required for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  1. Service providers, including hosting and cloud providers, email, information systems, information security, Website development and maintenance, backup, technical support, analytics and measurement tools, and artificial intelligence tools.
  2. Professional service providers, including accountants, tax advisers, bookkeeping providers, lawyers, experts, consultants, and other professional service providers, to the extent required for the firm's activities or the provision of the service.
  3. Parties relevant to an inquiry, engagement, transaction, or legal proceeding, where disclosure of the information is required for handling the matter or providing the service and in accordance with the law.
  4. Competent authorities, courts, regulators, and law-enforcement bodies, where disclosure of the information is required or permitted by law.
  5. Where there is concern regarding misuse of the Website or the Services, unlawful activity, infringement of rights, harm to information security, or harm to us, users, or third parties.
  6. In the event of a transfer, sale, assignment, merger, restructuring, or transfer of all or part of the firm's activities, provided that the recipient assumes appropriate obligations to protect the privacy of the information, where required.

Disclosure of the information will, to the extent possible, be proportionate and limited to what is required for the relevant purpose. Please note that some of the service providers we may use are located outside Israel or process information on servers outside Israel. Such transfers of information will be made in accordance with the law.

Information Retention Period

The information will be retained for the period required for the purposes for which it was collected and processed, taking into account the nature of the information, professional and legal needs, the protection of rights, and the obligations applicable to the firm.

Among other things:

  1. Information relating to inquiries and prospective clients may be retained for handling the inquiry, documentation, and continued contact;
  2. Information relating to clients and legal services may be retained in accordance with professional, legal, ethical, and regulatory needs;
  3. Accounting and financial information will be retained in accordance with legal requirements;
  4. Information used for mailings and updates will be retained for as long as an appropriate basis for its use exists and subject to unsubscribe requests;
  5. Technical and analytical information will be retained in accordance with operational needs and the settings of the tools used.

We take reasonable and accepted measures to protect the Personal Information in our possession, designed to reduce the risks of unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, exposure, or unauthorized transfer of information. However, information-security measures cannot guarantee absolute protection, and we cannot undertake that the Website, the Services, or the information systems will be completely immune from unauthorized access or information-security incidents.

A person who has inspected information about them and found it to be incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated may request that the information be corrected or deleted. Requests to inspect, correct, or delete Personal Information may be submitted in writing to becky@fuhrmann-law.com. The request will be answered in accordance with the law.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy, the use of the Website, and the Services are governed exclusively by the laws of Israel. The competent courts in the Central District shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this Privacy Policy or the use of the Website and the Services.

Changes and Updates

We may amend and update this Privacy Policy from time to time. In the event of a material change, a notice will be published on the Website or by another appropriate means. Continued use of the Website or the Services after publication of the updated Policy will be deemed consent to the updated Policy.
